Corruption is an alarming problem widespread in the Italian society. In fact, two thirds of the interviewees stated that it has augmented over the last 30 years, while for only 20 percent of Italians, bribery has diminished. These findings overlap with the pattern of the Corruption Perceptions Index, which has been recording an increasing trend since 2012.
